Re:-X- is het langlopende onderzoek van NP3 naar de processen en de invloed van de spraakmakende tentoonstelling
This is the show and the show is many things uit 1994 van het S.M.A.K. te Gent. Deze experimentele tentoonstelling
toonde voor het eerst in een museale omgeving bewust en openlijk de artistieke processen zoals keuzes van kunstenaars,
het ontwikkelen van kunstwerken en de invloed van het curatorschap. Gefascineerd door deze unieke en destijds zeer
vernieuwende tentoonstellingsvorm zoekt NP3 naar de betekenis, van het HOE, WAAROM en WAT van This is the show...
in de context van tijd.
In drie sequenties deelt NP3 haar eigen ontdekkingen en interpretaties als ook de inzichten, herinneringen en ervaringen
van uiteenlopende betrokken partijen, dit alles in nauwe relatie tot de veranderde tijdsgeest.
Hiermee zet NP3 haar zoektocht voort naar essentiële vernieuwingen voor de kunstwereld van NU.

SEQ. 1.0 NP3 - Tentoonstelling als experimenteerparadijs
In SEQ. 1.0 deelt NP3 op geheel eigen wijze alle verkregen ervaringen, inzichten en kennis. Door het kritische terugblikken
op het inspirerende 'procesproject' This is the show... bouwt NP3 een transformerend en afsluitend overzicht van haar unieke
onderzoeksproces een tentoonstelling die dagelijks onderhevig is aan verandering: een waarlijk experimenteerparadijs.
De tentoonstelling is voor bezoekers een bijzondere ervaringsplek, waar ze keer op keer ongehinderd kunnen vertoeven,
observeren en ronddwalen.
SEQ. 2.0 Liedeke Kruk
Met puur, ruw, nog nooit eerder vertoond foto- en videomateriaal, toont Liedeke Kruk haar portret van This is the show...
Zij registreerde werkende kunstenaars, transformerende kunstwerken, intieme momenten in het kunstenaarsproces en
de sociale context, dit in een experimentele tentoonstellingsomgeving.

Re:-X is the long-term study of NP3 to the processes and the influence of the high-profile exhibition
This is the show and the show is many things from 1994, S.M.A.K. Gent. This experimental exhibition showed for the first
time in a museum environment consciously and overtly artistic processes such as choices of artists, developing art and
the influence of the curatorship. Fascinated by this very unique and innovative exhibition NP3 searched for the meaning,
the HOW, WHY and WHAT of This is the show... in the context of time.
In three sequences NP3 shares her own discoveries and interpretations as well as the insights, memories and experiences
of diverse stakeholders, all in close relation to the changing zeitgeist. With this NP3 is continuing her quest to essential
innovations for the present art world.

exhibition that is daily subjected to change: a true paradise experiment. The exhibition is a unique experience for visitors,
where they can repeatedly spend time freely linger, observe and wander.

With pure, raw, never before seen photographs and video footage, Liedeke Kruk shows her portrait of This is the show...
She registered working artists, transformational art, intimate moments within the artistic process and the social context,
all in an experimental exhibition environment.
